Actor Shahid Kapoor doesn't invite actress and ex Kareena to his b'day part

Invites Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra and Amrita Rao, not Kareena Kapoor

HiTLIST reported that Shahid Kapoor was planning an intimate gathering of friends and family for his 27th birthday (February 25) at his home (Hitlist, Feb 20, Shahid Kapur's secret b'day plans) The party happened as reported last night.

What's even more interesting was that when ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor learnt about Shahid's party, she planned an impromptu dinner party at Saif's Bandra home the same night.

Says a source, "Shahid's bash was at a lounge bar of a suburban five-star hotel. The guestlist had Vidya Balan, Amrita Rao and Priyanka Chopra all of whom he has been romantically linked to! Meanwhile, ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor was not invited.

Shahid was shooting in Jodhpur for Yash Raj's next with Rani Mukerji and flew down for a day for the party. He came on Tuesday and boarded for a flight back this morning.

Apart from B-Town folk, the party also included Shahid's dad Pankaj and stepmom Supriya Kapoor, their children Rohan and Sanaa, Shahid's brother Ishaan (Shahid's mother Neelima Azim and Rajesh Khattar's son) Shahid's close friend from Bangalore, Shriram were also present.

A source adds, "When Kareena heard about Shahid's party at Sajid Nadiadwala's party on Tuesday night, she immediately decided to host her own at Saif's Bandra home though hers was a gathering of select friends like designer Aki Narula, her make-up artiste, Mallika Bhatt, designer Shabina Khan (who was also invited to Shahid's party), Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora Khan, Arbaaz Khan and a few others."

A source close to Kareena says, "What rubbish! Kareena didn't throw any party. She was shooting double shifts for Rensil D' Silva's next and some patchwork for Kambakht Ishq. Maybe designer Akki Narula threw some party but Bebo wasn't involved in it."

That shoudl put any assumptions about her throwing a party to rest. ANd shahid and kareena arent obligated to each other anymore. He can invite whoever he wants, and she can invite and throw any parties she wants. The media's getting ridiculous
