There have been so many good movies which have got bad reviews from critics, has he ever spoken for those movies?

By continuing to so closely protect and promote Abhishek the one thing he doesnt realise is- he is not giving Abhi the opportunity to step out of his dad's shadow.

ditto, everytime i start liking abhisek, Big B comes out with his overprotective attitude and it just ruins for me! No one wants to see 33yr old grown man being pampared..!
let him be on his own...jeez!

Let's face it, all critics are bias! I personally liked Delhi 6, but not more than Slumdog! But these films shouldn't be compared at all! And so what if a westerner made the film, it doesn't mean it's not a good film, it's a great film! And same goes for delhi 6, i liked it and it was good! The characters were real and the situation was real! The film is good and Big B doesn't need to defend it!

See for an average person to have a blog and express their opinion on their ever whim is fine, but when he at his stature does it at every little perceived injustice, then it is going to look very very childish. I liked the film, but it had its flaws. The Ram-Leela scenes were excessive, but as a girl, who spent her early childhood in Delhi, I really liked the way it was shot. It didn't bore me, but the plot could have been more fleshed out instead of focusing just on the Kaala Bandaar but just a bit more on Bittu. And of course it was an amazing soundtrack that could have been used a little better. For the accent, it wasn't perfect, but I actually liked Abhi in this and I wished Sonam's role was bigger. It wasn't a perfect film, but it got me thinking and moved me profoundly on many levels and was a perfect way to spend a Saturday night. More than anything I liked the supporting characters like Atul Kulkarni, Waheeda Rahman, and Rishi Kapoor.

P.S. But I would say Slumdog Millionaire was a much better film in terms of a screenplay.

Why is he bringing slumdog movie here? Slumdog movie is the BEST movie of the year. While D6 is the most stupid movie I have EVER seen. Sonam fans might say "ONly intelligant people will understand this type of movie" Just like they said about sawaariya. If I think a movie is crap, that doesn't mean I didn't understand the story.

where does sonam fans came? Amitabh said it, not anil kapoor. From reviews and audience both loved sonam - the saving grace in the movie.

I dont understand why you have to bring Sonam and Saawariya into this. Thats ridiculous. as far as Amtabh Bachchan goes, I think he's going senile. I think that the reason he feels that he needs to protect his son is because ever since he got married, he's been in Aishwarya's shadow...first Abhishek was in Amitabh's shadow and now he's in his wife's shadow. Thats why he feels like he needs to defend his son. Personally, I think that he should just chill out.

sonam fans came in because I saw some sonam fans saying that people who didn't like D6 is because they didn't understand the movie😊 Sawaariya came in my discussion because it's the same thing sonam fans said it. People didn't understand sawaariya because they aren't "Intelligant enough to understand it"😆 now that history of speech is repeating itself again

^ You really shouldn't generalize like that. I hate this "Sonam-fan" vs "Deepika-fan" nonsense. Everyone is free to have their own opinion. Just because someone's a Sonam fan and liked the movie doesn't mean their opinion doesn't mean anything. I could reverse that on you and say maybe you didn't like Delhi-6 because you are NOT a Sonam fan. But I'm not going to do that...
And anyway, this article has very little to do with Sonam. It's about whether or not Amitabh Bachchan's anger is justified or not....so please stick to the topic. If people are indeed saying that those who didn't like the movie didn't understand it, then please go handle it in that thread, and not here.

this post only has to do with Amitabh article. If sonam fans feel that way, everyone has their opinion. I haven't seen or read any negative comment of bittu character from D6. Bittu role was short but it isn't sonam fault her role was short. Infact people who've watched it complained wish sonam role was bigger, she did her homework. I never thought abhishek could go so wrong with his accent as mostly everyone complaining.
