Meet SRK's Knights and Angels
Shah Rukh Khan's first ever reality show Knight and Angles will start on February 28,2009. We caught up with the show's creative head Pranjal Khandhdiya and he gave us the details.
Khandhdiya says, "We've selected 24 girls from all over Mumbai. Most are from small towns and are around 18 to 22-years-old. One of the girls is even married! Even though she comes from a conservative family, her mother-in-law really wanted her to be a part of the show."

Shah Rukh met the girls recently and was all praise for them. Pranjal says, "SRK is super excited about the show. He met up with the girls and said that all of them are so unique. He got a really positive vibe from them." The girls were selected according to their attitude. Pranjal says, "We had only three criteria for selecting contestants: attitude, love for sport and dance. We didn't think they had to look or act a certain way."
Shaimak Dawar will train these girls during the show. "Shaimak and our team selected the girls. The show will be judged by Shaimak and Sourav Ganguly and in every episode, a Bollywood celebrity will be the third judge. The best six girls will get a chance to perform in the coming IPL (Indian Premier League) and they will be under a contract. They will be the cheerleaders for the Kolkatta Knight Rider's team,"says Khandhdiya.
The show will also offer a lot of prizes. The names of the finalists are as follows: Pranalika C Arya, Rupali Kantharia, Natasha Ramaseshan, Sanna Chirawawala, Sneha Parikh, Kaajal R Chandani, Sunanda Hiroo, Prathna Shah, Nisha Rizvi, Nikita Agarwal, Rekha Rana, Shruti Bhadekar, Leena S Puthran, Geena Jha, Suhani Sharma, Srishti Gupta, Ananya Bera, Samyukta S, Ruhi Kumari, Shilpa Vashist, Ritika Chibber, Mohak Nanda, Srishti Bhatia and Priji.
