Shah Rukh's exit from Pepsi

With Pepsi vigorously pursuing the "Youngistan" campaign, the company decided to opt for younger film and sports icons. The end result? Shah Rukh Khan is no more the brand ambassador of Pepsi. Though SRK had appeared alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the Pepsi ad, the new deal paved way for his total exit. When contacted, Shah Rukh confirmed the news. Earlier, sports icons like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly paved way for the younger generation in brand endorsements.

It may be recalled that Aamir Khan, the arch rival of SRK recently renewed his contract with soft drinks major Coca Cola for an astounding Rs. 10 crore

Pepsi is broke! Its not about youngitan. They have even taken away the contract of david beckham. They just cant afford it now because of the global financial crisis they are running on a shoestring budget. Anywayz i dont even know how pepsi is running cuaz i have noticed it is pretty unpopular here in north america.. Coke is way popular here.. I love sprite anywayz less sugar.

So pepsi has no money so how can they afford the King! Too bad for them! Heheh..
