Adnan Sami may be going through a distressing time, but his ex-wife Zeba Bakhtiyar and mother stand by him

Adnan will not have to fight his divorce battle with Sabah alone as his mother, Naureen Sami completely stands by her son. An anguished Naureen said, "What is my poor son's crime? That he tried to be a good son to his parents?"
She clarified and admitted that he married Sabah on her insistence, "After his breakup with Zeba Bakhtiyar, my son never wanted to remarry, but I persuaded him to set up a new home with Sabah. She's my friend's daughter, so I knew her well, or so I thought."
Regretting her choice Naureen said, "I didn't know she was capable of this kind of torture and humiliation. After Adnan remarried, my husband fell grievously ill. Adnan insisted that we shift to Mumbai as he wanted to take charge of his father's health. I just want Adnan to get out of this crisis."

Not only his mother but, surprisingly, even his
estranged wife Zeba Bakhtiyar has supported him completely. She has given him a clean chit on his second wife's charges of physical torture and allowed him to communicate with their son, Azaan.
Confirming these developments, Adnan said, "The whole mess in my domestic life has thawed the ice between me and Zeba. We talk regularly now. She has offered to send Azaan over to my place whenever I want to meet him. Azaan will be going to Eton educational institute in the UK next year. Both his mother and I agree it would be the best for him. My happiest moment was when Zeba said that I could be a bad husband on other counts, but never could I be guilty of physical abuse."
