Katrina Kaif to do comedy!

To those who believe she can't act, Katrina would soon have a befitting reply. For, she is allegedly set to do what's deemed the most difficult part of acting – comedy.

The grapevine has it that Katrina has agreed to be part of director Rohit Shetty's next film to be produced by Shetty's good friend and actor Ajay Devgan.

Given the fact that Shetty has directed comedies like Golmaal , Sunday and Golmaal Returns , it's a forgone conclusion that his film for Devgan's production house will also be a comedy.

Apparently, Devgan thought of roping in Katrina after he and Salman Khan bonded like thick buddies on the sets of London Dreams.

To the unit-members, it was evident that the two stars (having already worked in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam ) were enjoying each other's company during the shoot of 'London Dreams'. So much so that Devgan expressed his wish to cast Katrina in his next home production.

Reports say Katrina's role won't be just eye-candy. She would have a number of comedy scenes to prove her mettle.The movie would also star Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan .Wonder what kind of laughathon would such a colourful ensemble make!
