I was watching Akshay and Deepika's interview on AVS and the following is the conversation between the two:
Akshay- So Deepika wat are your future projects?
Deepika- Well my next film is directed Imtiaz Ali and I'm paired opposite Saif Ali Khan.
Akshay- Oh so its a Pakistani film? Since it has all "Alis" ...Imtiaz Ali and Saif Ali...
Deepika- (laughs) No its very much an Indian film..and blah blah blah
I was pretty shocked when he kinda classified Imtiaz and Saif as Pakistanis...Like wat is he tryna say..that all Muslims living in India are paki? Im an Indian Hindu and I found his statement quite ridiculous.

Also I dont want this topic to turn into a religious battlefield...lets just discuss how Akshay made that statement out of humor..that was very irresponsible of him..
