Bebo refuses to perform with Kat, Deepika, Priyanka and Bips

Kareena Kapoor has backed out of the grand finale of the Screen Film awards. The act titled Five Divas had Bebo along with Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone performing.

An insider reveals that Bebo had agreed to participate, but when she heard the names of the other female stars performing with her, she backed out.

"Kareena feels that Deepika is a newcomer, while Katrina still has a long way to come up to her level. So she cannot perform with them. She doesn't want to be seen in the same bracket as these actresses."

Another reason why Kareena decided against performing as part of the five divas is on her sister Karisma's advice. "Lolo asked her to stay away from group acts, and also cut down on stage shows. Kareena takes her advice very seriously and made up her mind after discussing it with her," adds the source.

Bebo was offered a huge amount for the finale but she didn't budge from her decision. The source continues, "The organisers were very keen on getting Kareena as they felt that the diva act wouldn't be complete without her. However, she asked them how Deepika and Katrina were qualified to be in the same league as her. After they refused to give her a solo act, Kareena decided not to participate."

Gosh whats her issue still ....

It probably is not true if it is very BIG ego ...she still has yet to prove her self doing JWM and Golmaal hit films does not make her a great actor...as much as i like her cannot stand people with such ego.

She's performed with Kat in Temptation though. I think its coz she's shooting for Raju hiranis' 3 Idiots. I sense ti was clashing.

I believe the reason given is true and I don't find anything wrong with that. Kareena is experienced and a senior (in terms of her work) compared to Deepika, Priyanka, Katrina in the film field.

I think Kareena is trying her best to be in the league of Aishwarya Rai. I mean we won't see Aishwarya doing a group performance like this. Kareena did a special number in BB along the lines of Deepika and Priyanka and yet all 3 (1is yet to come) have got same amount of publicity. I mean Deepika is just a newbie and her and Kareena being in the same bracket here might have irked her.

Kareena has done it before but looks like as part of her New Year's resolution she wants to be exclusive and also earn some respect for being a top actor along the lines of Aishwarya Rai, Kajol etc.

Priyanka is only a couple of years younger than her in terms of work.

In my view, (if this is true at all) Kareena is being a tad too proud, her career only just picked up and I think its an insult to Priyanka if she (Kareena) thinks Priyanka is not in her league. I would say Priyanka is, and what happened to her ego when she did the pepsi ads with PC. Or performed with Kat in the temptations tour, heck..Kareena performed in the rip off the temptations tour when Priyanka was in the orignal..and thats saying something. Thats why I really hope this news isn't true, because Bebo deary is becoming to big headed for her own good. (Again entirley my own opinion..we can't like everybody..can we)
~ I don't think she is superior to the others in anyway, the only way (perhaps..) is because she won a couple of more filmfares, but the others have too! Also, Kareena did a cameo in a film Priyanka had a lead role in..the more I think about it..the more likely the news sounds like rubbish..lol

well she performed wid kat in temptations...n as sum 1 said she did a special apprearence in don wid priyanka being the lead...i dont think such ego shuld be in her head..wat if priyanka wins all the best actress awards this year ...i mean jst winning the best actress awards one year is a big achievement but shez not the only one to win them so she shouldnt be too big headed coz of it...

lol this just gives me another reason to not stand her....this just makes my life easier!! keep on disliking her for this reason!....anyways Katrina,Deepika and Priyanka are way better than her anyways....esp Priyanka..whose career is on a better graph than Kareena's is

The entire cast and crew of 3 Idiots are gonna be residing in this college campus In Bangalore to get into their characters. This is a planned 45 day shoot, and the Screen Awards are dead in the middle.

Whatever perceptions you may have of kareena's ego, one thing is certain. She's very professional. I dont think she'll risk tarnishing her professional rep with the Moranis for the sake of an ego. And like someone pointed out, she did pepsi commercials with PC AND performed wiht Kat in the Temptations concert.
