Its not a hit by whether people like it or so far audience have mostly liked it from what i gather..figures show its done well

Despite mixed reviews, the film earned 7.5 crore net all over India.^[10] The second day is estimated at 10 crores. ^[11] According to 1st week collection records, Rab ne bana di jodi has broken the opening weekend records for Yash Raj Films, collected 60 crore worldwide and has surpassed Dhoom 2 as a first-week grosser.^[12] The movie has broken sixth day record by collecting 42.39 crores. ^[13] 1st week collection of rnbdj has passed 62 crore making it india's highest earning movie till date in 1st week.
