When Big B got too 'big'

It all happened on Rohit Roy's chat show. The producers had initially planned for one episode that will feature an interview with Amitabh Bachchan. Big B spoke so much during the interview that the channel has decided to change the format of the interview to 'accommodate him'.
Rohit's chat show called Inside Bollywood, had earlier featured stars like Abhishek Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Sanjay Dutt, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar.
Rohit says that Big B had spoken his heart out while he was being interviewed.
"We shot for around one hour forty minutes with Amitabh Bachchan for our show which is of 40 minutes. We did not announce a cut throughout the interview as Amitji was totally in the mood to speak his heart out. There was pin drop silence in the studio as we shot and Amitji went on speaking. Everyone was simply engrossed in listening to him."
He adds, "Interviewing him is such a pleasure. If he has a comfort level with you, he is a completely different person. You know Amitji has a wealth of experience to share that he has gathered over decades in the film industry. So, while talking to an actor if I had to ask, say, 10 questions, I ended up asking more. During the course of Amitji's interview the questions just kept on
increasing as there was so much to ask him and so much to learn from him. You will see him as a totally different person in the Grand Finale episode of my show when it will
be aired."
