Deepika Padukone is facing dejection, disappointment quite early in her career. After tasting grand success with her first venture, Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om the goregous actress was recently replaced as the face of Maybelline New York.
In a media release the company said, "Having worked with some of the best names in the fashion business - Emanuel Ungaro, Gianfranco Ferre & Trusardi as well as Indian design stalwarts like Rina Dhaka, Rocky S and Rohit Bal amongst others, Diana Penty from Elite Model Management has been signed on as the new face of international cosmetic giant Maybelline New York."
