Its a typical Hindu/Punjabi tradition... where touching elders feet is to show ur respect for them ...since hrithik is a punjabi, he touched his idol's feet which is good...

Agreed that she has lived in USA and all that.... but when she normally speaks in interviews her accent is different from the one during LS2050 london premier.... It was so fake... As such i am a big fan or priyanka and would love her to be real and original which suits her better than being fake... sorry if i am offending u.... but i am just telling that i want her to be original as she is when she gives interviews

when eva sum1 uses fake accent it all of a sudden becumes obvious..apart from katrina who ,not surprisingly ,speaks in proper british accent ..most of the other actresses r fond of developing an accent but its too obvious dat its fake..like ash who is so not fluent n is always pausing to bring in her fake british- american mixed accent...priyanka speaks really gud n i agree she doesnot need to develop an accent..its embarassing n too obvious n not sumfin ideal for hollywood , hope ur listenin ash..

^^ wen u are fluent in many different languages, AND accents....itz so very often happens that u mix them up, according to who ur company is and where u are...

it happens with me all the time...ive been in canada for almost 17 years now....so i have a fluent american english accent....and thas how i normally speak.....but wenever i go to india, or talk to ppl who dont have such a fluent american english accent, my english accent becomes abit desi as well...

itz natural....accents do change depending on who ur talking to, where u are....so maybe priyanka was living in india all these years, working with ppl with the indian english accent, so she used to talk that way....but wen she was in the premier in london, or whereever else, she came across ppl with the proper english accent, therefore she switched accents....it doesnt necessarily mean that itz fake...

but yeah i agree with the ash part....she does put up a fake accent....hers doesnt even sound real.....her and salman both....loll even salman puts up a fake accent...

abhishek and priyanka dont fake it....they have the real accent....

i have never heard Katrina speak in a "proper british accent", it sounds American to me *shrug*

Oh puhleeze...the only person in bollywood who i can be sure of faking accent is Salman.. he speaks with a weird twang that is random even when talking to desi people..its like he talks in his normal accent then something goes tick tick then he starts randomly talking in fake american accent then tick tick normalness back again

and Ash has always talked like the way she has..she probably got enunciation lessons when she went for Miss World pageant.. she talks eloquently and articulately..i don't see this so called "fake accent".. yeah in her 60 mins and Oprah interviews she spoke slower and carefully enunciating every syllable but that is merely a courtesy, a lot of non desi people have problems understanding desi accent.. English isn't her first language and she was speaking so the other party understands it..

I noticed Preity speaking with a slightly different accent when i saw her on CNN..

also these people travel the world all the time and English isn't their first language so when they learn a new word, you would assume they would pronounce it as they "heard it"...

i have never paid attention to Priyanka's accent, she sounds like any other desi person..

also no disrespect but someone who can't even tell British and american accents apart are in no authority to judge if someone's accent is "fake" or "real"..

yeah...i agree....she was in london and won the best british indian actor award or sumthign...and she was speaking in the american accent....surprised me abit...

wats that guys name...the guy from london, sumthing patel, now he has a british accent....
