Mani Rathnam, critically acclaimed Indian film director is all set to make a bilingual movie in Tamil and Hindi featuring Tamil star Vikram.

Aishwarya Rai is all set to be the heroine of this movie pairing with Vikram.

As reports suggest, ace director Mani Ratnam's next film is to be made based on epic Ramayana and titled as Ravan. The Abhishek Bachchan – Aishwarya starrer bilingual will hit the floors once the director finalizes the star cast.

According to the sources, Abhishek Bachchan plays as Ram and Aishwarya plays as Sita in this film. For Ravan character, Mani has finalised Aditya Pancholi in the Hindi version. Govinda will play the role of Hanuman, as sources say.

For Tamil, the director has already approached Vikram and Karthik for some crucial roles. As per the last minute reports, Karthik will play the role of Ravan in Tamil version while Vikram is fixed for Hanuman character.
