I think all the young hip and happening newcomers are pretty smart... Aka Ranbir, Sonam, Imran... But if going by all the actors in the industry, I would have to say Preity Zinta and Shahrukh Khan. Preity wrote for BBC for a while and the pieces were intellectual as well as enlightening. SRK as we all know is witty and clever, making him smart in a completely different manner.
