Shahid will always be a part of me, Kareena talks about former love

Hot Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has said that she still regards her former lover Shahid Kapur very much part of her life.

Talking to an Indian newspaper, Bebo as she is affectionately known says, "Whatever went wrong between Shahid and me is very personal. I have always maintained that Shahid will always be part of my life. But, we are better off as friends. There is no animosity."

Kareena then further went on to state, "Sometimes there are no reasons for things, which happen in life. Even if there is one, I do not think it is right to talk about it openly."

Kareena Kapoor split with Shahid Kapur middle of last year after she started having feelings for another fellow star, Saif Ali Khan.

thanx 4 artcle......i saw kareena on nach baliye...abhjeet sang song 4 her AAO GE JUB TUM 4m the movie JWM.....i noticed kareena's fake smile n real teary eyes....i think she misses her time wid shahid......

This couple is very confusing both come across as saying very different things..from shahid i get they are not really in touch at all really and kareena acts like they still get on really well.

it is obvious that kareena is just trying to protect her image because she knows that she wronged shahid.

I don't think Kareena did any wrong. atleast she's not giving trash comments on shahid. She has always respected him and she still does. It was kareena who became vegetarian for shahid, stopped working with the co-star whom shahid had problems with. What did shahid do for kareena?

Shahid is soo much better off without her....So i dont want to comment on this..

Its up to her to act unclassy and flaunt her relationship with a guy whose 15 years her senior...Shahid deserves better anyways.

Whatever went wrong, i think shahid's just jealous now. He seemed pretty ok in the beginning, but now he's just stretching it way to much. I bet she prbably does still care for him, and as for keeping touch, she had said, "occasiontally". I'm guessing occasionally is very rare, but its her choice. Seems like he's the one who wasnt ready to let go, but I can understand why. Kareena was the dream girl. How devoted does one have to be in order to completely change her entire personality and even become vegetarian. I remember shahid even got pissed durnig KWK when karan asked him, what has he chnaged for her. Didnt have an answer.

And saif is not 15 years older than her. He's 10 years older, and it doesnt show. If two people are in love, then age shouldnt matter all that much. Besides, traditioanlly, it wasnt uncommon to have such an age difference in our marriages.
