Mumbai, Oct 28: The soaring prices charged by the celebrities for a token act in the endorsements, is a real shocker. Here's the latest: The 'Jab We Met' beauty Kareena Kapoor has charged a whooping price of Rs 7 crores for an endorsement deal with Pepsico's Kurkure. And, with that she's now become one of the highest paid Bollywood actress in the ad world.

The Endorsement Queen, Kareena Kapoor has managed to bag several deals this season.

A news daily quoted a source as saying, "Kareena is perhaps the only actress today who can command such a price. Several A-list companies are vying for and want her as their brand ambassador. The actress was paid Rs 5 crore for ITC's Vivel soap ad. She has now signed on for Kurkure at Rs 7 crore, which also has Juhi Chawla."

"Kareena will be portrayed as the younger, bubblier face of Kurkure. After her vivacious portrayal of Geet in Jab We Met, Bebo is seen as an ideal choice when it comes to endorsing cosmetics, personal care products and jewellery. She also spells class so when it comes to lifestyle products and the star is an obvious choice. The actress is also a youth icon, so companies sign her for products that target the youth. She's finished her contract for ICI Paints and Citizen watches and is now in negotiations for an international project", adds the source

Well, other than the daily tiffs and miffs with beau Saif Ali Khan, Kareena is now finally in news for the work she does. Certainly a lucrative deal!

Its good if shes getting that much but i think apart from the person no-one can really know the truth.

Kareena always talks about how much money she is getting.She insists that she is the highest paid this ,highest paid that.People simply don't buy it.Bebo also insists that she gets the best roles,which of course is far from the truth.

^yeah any articles that come out with these so called "sources" about Kareena's pay scale/her being offered a role opposite Johnny Depp/Christian Bale etc should be taken with a grain of salt

It is just her PR trying to keep her in the news by exaggerating and fabricating articles.

It lists the endorsements that paid her, so I dont see why they are not somewhat reliable.

^Oh really? If she doesn't wanna act in Hollywood movies then how did the producers lined up to sign her? Because they accidentally picked up Jab We Met DVD when they were at a desi store to buy some samosas and managed to see her histrionics and thought OMGGGGG I need her in my next movie?

Or perhaps they saw her bikini body in Tashan? Or maybe Stallone recommended her to production houses?

You either need to be give auditions AND/OR be a known face AND/OR have an agent in Hollywood to get any roles there. and sry2say she isn't exactly "well known" and the fact that she doesn't wanna go Hollywood would mean she doesn't have an agent there ... I am just perplexed that is all, perhaps you being the wise one could explain this to me.

and she doesn't wanna fake her accents? damn there goes my dream of wanting to see her do a Madrasi/Bengali/Gujarati/Kashmiri roles in future. 😭

Actually, its coz she was shooting in universal studios for KI. The entire film is shot there on an exclusive set and yes, Stallone may have been involved. Why doubt that? I mean, why are you so adamant on puting her down?
