Indore (PTI): National award-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar on Sunday expressed his desire to work with Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan and said he was waiting for an appropriate subject.
"Apart from Big B and King Khan, I also want to work with Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan and am just waiting for an appropriate subject," Bhandarkar told PTI.
"Big B has described me as the Hrishikesh Mukherjee of the new era during an award function and told me that I produce films that are not stereotypes. It was an honour for me," Bhandarkar known for movies like 'Page 3', 'Chandni Bar' and 'Traffic Signal' said.
Bhandarkar said his films were the mirrors of the society and were not intended to sermonise to the audience. Referring to his film 'Fashion', he said the film tries to show the reality behind the colourful world.
People related with the fashion industry should not get unduly worried as the film is an attempt to show the true picture of the fashion world and not hurt anyone associated with it.
