first i wanna talk abt Singh Is King , many ppl feel this movie made jokes of singhs but i dont think that ( i m also a punjabi), the movie was abt a charachter who was funn loving and as well very emotional and that person was sardar so this movie has nothing to do with religion , bcz sardar's are also funny , emotional like any other human and this movie showed that one side, and the thing i loved abt it as this is the first movie ever which showed A Sardar as a main Hero of a commercial movie , singing romantic songs bcz before that ppl only made funn of sardars ,(except very rare movies like border) none have thought to make a Sardar character as main romantic hero of any movie, and that is the thing i love abt singh is king, i didnt find it making funn of sardars but it was a good starting for others and i m so happy its a block buster

I am sikh and i found singh is king pathetic it got nothing to do with being punjabi etc firstly why were all the dons wearing turbans and what was the point of using the singh name in the title when its got nothing to do with story...anything would have suited the film thats what i hated about film its looked like to me chalo film da naam singh is king rakhna ya lets stick turbans and thats our reference ...at the end of the day it was just a comedy movies.
