Akshay Kumar is unstoppable. Now, that his latest venture Singh Is Kinng has been declared a hit, the new Punjabi 'King' has moved much closer to the No 1 position and his market prize has soared many folds. "Now he will be charging more than Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir do. And like them, he too takes a territory as part of his remuneration," says a trade pundit. So Bollywood ka naya king kaun? No prizes for guessing this one!

Hail the KING of Bollywood......

Akshay is really the king....who came up all by himself and by his hard work..with no big banner supporting him and even by taking panga with the major banner in Bollywood...thuis proves that you do not need to be in any group t o be famous.....

Go Akshay...GO

Waiting for Chandinin Chowk to China....that is going to be very very big hit too....

Two of my fav actors in it - Akki-Deeps.

Until he does movies outside comedy for me he wont be close to no1 what so ever....

i am1000000% agree with u when he will do real acting and that movie will hit then i will call him an actor.sorry to say but always watching him doing one thing is not enough for an actor.

The day SRK movies out of Ywah Raj-KAran camp and do a significant movie other than roamce he would be the king for me...

No let me chage it..the person who earns the blast on box office...the person who makes his producers happy running to the bank.....or the peson who makes public go "Singh is King" is the KING.

Akshay has went to the top.without any big banners..

were our "stars" todai..keep working wiht yash-raj and Dharma films..

yeah Akshay is good in comedies and i actually prefer seeing him in comedic roles only, i dont think hes an acer in romance...but anyhow

Akshays had the support of banners as well, so what if they arent as big as YR??

most of his hits have been from priyadarshan, sajid nadiadwala, they were the ones who gave him a whole new comedic avtaar...

PEOPLE JUST GET OVER THIS KING ISHT!!! LET ALL THE ACTORS ENJOY THEIR PUBLICITY, AND LET THEM TAKE IN THE GLORY FOR WHAT THEY EXCELL IN, BE IT ROMANCE OR COMEDY! DIFFERENT ACTORS, COME WITH DIFFERENT STYLES, LEARN TO BE MORE ACCEPTING!

I feel bad for Akki,he got a chance to taste major success a bit too late in his career.However,I always liked him,even in his flop hairy days=] I'm glad he got his due after all that struggling.

I'm confused over the whole King crap.I've shared tons of memories with both Shahrukh and Akshay.But it's majority of the Shahrukh movies I tend to watch over and over and over again.Haha even his so called flops, like Baadshah for instance.I loved Shahrukh in it!!!Lol I know all the dialogues of that film,yes I know, how lame!😆I think Shahrukh's the more deserving contender for the crown.He instantly clicked with the audience.You have to be really charismatic to do that!

And for those who say Akshay is only restricted to comedy,I don't really think so.I think he can pull-off the serious roles pretty well too.Watch Sangharsh (he creeped the hell outtah me in that),Ek Rishta,Aarzoo,Aankhen,Khakee,Bewafaa,Khiladi,Yeh Dillagi etc,not exactly path-breaking but he's done fairly well.
