Despite Akshay being a convenient option for Myra, I love how she is not allowing him to walk over her. She gives it back to him when needed & doesn't mince her words. How refreshing is to see character consistency & a FL not becoming doormat for another guy, while maintaining her sass for the ML.
Kabir never fail to express his love for Myra & tease her about it, but yet never crosses the boundary to grab or pin her. He gives her space, & time. Not only that, I love how he goes the further mile to address her concerns & strike them down patiently while reassuring her.
Abha & Sandy use Shakespeare to flirt while working on Aryan's school project. Again, another character that doesn't impose his love or feelings on the girl & gives both of them time to discover each other. And Abha, despite being a single mother, is not sad all the time. She feels the attraction & has no qualms looking at Sandy.
Nikhil & Akshay, despite hating Kabir, are not planning kidnappings or using other OTT methods to get rid of him. They are not all out bad people. They are subservient in their relationship with Rhea & Myra respectively but yet are not reduced to caricatures. They are real.
Love how they use Aryan to raise the simplest questions about love, trust, marriage, bullying etc. Kids are afterall the most innocent pure souls.
Mrs Kohli, despite being a single mother, is not drowned in her sorrows. She maintains herself by going to the parlour, watches TV & has her own little world beyond her kids.
Father Kohli is not just reduced to a photograph with a mala. He is omnipresent in the household despite being dead.
