Edit: I think he'll be at an advantage in that the show will try to keep him on for a few weeks and hope that he'll provide some entertainment. If he doesn't deliver, they'll kick him off. The show has some cushioning now when it comes to elimination. I think the guy has potential though. We shall see!

Being a "commoner" I think in the intial few weeks will be advantage for him because lots of celebirties will treat him with respect to gain maahanta from the public. Also, people will be able to relate to him more and he doesn't have a reputation (good or bad) to maintain on the show.
