i guess its a mountain of a molehill, yes ullu ki phatti means daughter of an owl so yes it is an abuse of parents. i will be angry too at ullu ki phatti. shradda used a gali that is cheap vulgar and everyone knows it is a gali. if you thnik what shradda said is qworse than what juhi said then am v surprised.
dougle insaan means , pal pe tola pal me masa, double faced. in urdu it is used all the time and generally also it is used as double standards, it is not accepted as a gali so BB cant reprimand her.

for a word to be considered an abuse it has to genral perception, whereas in trindad and Westindies it shows peole who have mixed races , gernally it is accepted as double faced or two timers. we usually take the words as they mean today or accepted by soicety, if the orgin of ullu ki phatti was differnt and wanst meant as abuse will that imapctr today the acceptance of ti as an abuse? no.

i dont like juhi any more than i like shradda or sky or any other, but ik normal word jo use hota hai uske peeche kia socha bht rare chance hai. you googled it and you found out the meaning , yet most of the ppl on the forum are unaware that this is an abuse so how do you expect an action?

i will still say dougla means a hypocrite based on how it is used in urdu and i dont take it as an abuse, wikipedia or google translator is really not the perfect answer for the orgin of oher dialects, more than that it is scial accpetance of the word that makes it what it is.

well Leo4ever ji...I am fine with anything the majority feels, but just to correct you on one point...

...I did not google to find out the meaning of this word. If you see from the first post itself, I KNEW the meaning.

Later, I had to google out links and translation part for members who are not sure of the meaning of this abuse OR think they know the meaning differently.

Google translation has exact translation of this one...if still some think perception is what one should go by, so be it!

By the way I have some friends, who when they really admire a funny one cracked by me, back slap me grinning ear to ear and say,"Badi Kutti cheez hai yaar tu..."...I agree Kutti cheez here means 'comic talent' or 'wisecrack'...an inference...not correct translation / meaning!😛
