A gentleman would apologise even if it wasn't his fault.

Not becuase it was his fault, but because he regrets the fact that he hurt a woman.

Amar is no gentleman and I think that was evident from the second day when he descended into a 'tu tu' argument with Juhi.

She randomly comes, and starts shouting...if she got hurt, she shouldve talked to him RIGHT then at the moment, instead of going around the whole house and telling everyone besides him, just for footage..
