Aryan is deeply in love with anupama. But anu is saying , he is her best friend only, and nothing else. If at all aryan convinse anu for marriage, do you think the marriage will work out? She needs always constant praising,and she always fights for something or the other. And if she says 'no' for marriage its good for aryan ,because she never loved him at all. whenever she talked ,she was always thinking properly to give correct words for their relationship. " He is my best friend. I like him. Love is a strong word ". She is very definite that she doesn't love him. She is very careful also while mentioning anything about aryan. When we can understand why can't aryan understand. May be love is blind. Aryan constantly saying "anu is beautiful", but he is not seeing her mind. she was using him for the game. she also said that" I cannot go anywhere else in this house other than him" because she knows that indian audience will favour for a romancing couple till the end.
