Riya and Raima are the granddaughters of legendary Suchitra Sen. Neither their mother Moon Moon Sen nor they could ever reach the heights of acting that their grandmother had. Instead all three aquired names for all reasons other than acting skills.

Moonmoon Sen and Riya Sen is a pain and insult to SS.. In fact only Raima possess a lil bit of acting skill, at least 1% of what SS used to have..

In fact have seen a couple of Bengali movies of Raima, though not as good as SS she still is a very good actor. Riya had chosen the glam-doll image and Raima chose serious cinema. She also appeared in Godmother with Shabana Azmi, she was excellent in that movie. Godmother, incidentally was the debut of Sharman Joshi.

SS appeared in bengali movies mostly her foray in Hindi movies was Bambai ka Babu opposite Dev Anand. Mamta opposite Ashok Kumar and Aandhi opposite Sanjeev. She quit movies when the first rumor linked her to co-star of many films - Utam Kumar. She has not been seen in public ever since.

Moon Moon was married into a royal family and she chose to appear in films in glamor roles. Her stint in movies was not very successful.
