Meena, most North Indians, even if they are non-vegetarians, will not eat non-veg food...even eggs on Tuesdays. Some also do the same on Saturdays.

what is indian common terminology? lol😆
even if u r talking in colloquial terms, there are so many indians who eat egg and claim to be vegetarians.
Ufff.....yeh vegetarians ke pange bade hai...
glad that i m non-vegetarian.

What i meant is that the terms we use "commonly" in India is either vegetarian, non-vegetarian and at times eggitarian ". We don't use the correct scientfic names which were mentioned in earlier post in our common conversation.

And whats the problem with generalising as Indian. I interact with people from different states, and all of them use the same terms. If you have a different opinion state that instead of telling me what to say.

All, I meant was, you cant say 'according to indians egg is non veg'....u generalised the term 4 indian whereas u were talking abt urself....coz even i have met many ppl who claim to be vegetarian and even eat eggs. So it's more of personal opinion rather than one person coming and telling that according to 'indian common terminology' eggs r non-veg.... India has more than 100 crore population...and no one has met even 1% of that population. So u cannot generalise the term 4 india....to convey ur msg.
