I didn't know it was being filmed'

Playing ignorant: Jade Goody |
On the eve of her beginning treatment, she has claimed in interviews to UK tabloids and television channels that her doctors had misdiagnosed her ailment and allowed her to participate in Bigg Boss 2. Also, that she was unaware that her conversations about her ailment were being recorded for telecast.
Not cramps
The British TV celeb has been quoted as saying that her sickness was diagnosed as menstrual cramps. "I made a conscious effort to tell them that I was going away for a long time and doctors would not be able to get in touch with me, and asked them would that be okay? They said I was fine."
Moreover, later when she was told that it was cancer, she claims she was not told that it would be on Indian television! "I did not know it was being filmed. The producers wanted me to go out and tell everybody. I was like, 'I can't do that, I need my family and friends to know before I just randomly say it on television'," Goody states.
Tale of torment
All these allegations have put a question mark about the way the Goody episode was handled. Despite being paid a whopper to be on the show, she has now emerged to be a tormentor, after her exit, for both producer and channel.
Says a source, "Like all other inmates of Bigg Boss, Goody also had a check-up done and was asked about her medical history. She did not reveal anything about the tests she had conducted in the UK. The medical checks done on the inmates were routine - a blood test, blood pressure, etc, which wouldn't detect cancer."
Goody has been a participant in reality shows before, she knows that whatever is spoken is up for broadcast. Adds the source, "How can Goody be unaware that her cancer ailment talk would not be aired?"
