Since I have seen many posts calling it unfair eviction for different reasons, I am outlining few of my posts before the telecast of nomination episode.
1.Nomination Prediction(16 Dec DDT):
"Shilpa will definitely try to bring Vikas and Arshi in nomination together, but biased BB may nominate four HM who couldn't choose contenders and other who discuss nomination like Akash and Puneesh to save Arshi and Vikas who would be in danger"{This was based on ED/Unseen Videos}
"Out to Arshi and Vikas mein se bhi koi ho sakta hai, if they take votes into consideration, these two haven't tasted nomination lately, but this whole exercise is academic at this point, nai karenge aisa kuch..."
2. Eviction Prediction(17 Dec DDT):
"Further, Akash first and if there is double eviction then it's a close tie, Arshi, Vikas, Priyank, ek saath nomination mein nai aaye, fark padega, votes split honge"
"Agar Aisa hua to Arshi is in danger too, maza aayega..."
3.Why not Puneesh (18 DEC DDT):
"One factor which everyone is discounting that everyone is nominated, so any bulk voting from Puneesh side managed by his immediate family or lukhe dosts can alter it favourably for him, even 10k or 20k will change the dynamics, all subject to disclaimer if voting process is fair."
Based on this, it can be said Arshi is eliminated because
a. She came in nominations with Vikas and Priyank who had convergent fan group.
b. This resulted in divided votes among three, so to breach that barrier was easy for Puneesh owing to management outside.
c. In my opinion Akash would have been evicted, but his brilliant performance in weekly task gained him votes from every fangroups who dislike Vikas.
In my opinion, number of persons in nomination and who all gets nominated also plays a major part as it helps in voted being split or consolidated based on different combinations.
