I am glad you mentioned Merchant of Venice. I did have The Bard in mind than Jack Sparrow when writing that down 😆 I swear it's tough to deliver on stage! Been there me too. Just about went through it unscathed, swallowing bunches of words in apparent dramatic fashion 😆
And truth be said, I'm fine with anybody shipping anybody. I just find it disappointing that people don't display empathy towards someone who had been bullied. But then, when people are in denial over the bullying itself, what's there to say. The illusion of Shikas is quite similar to some of the fanfiction on IF and some Hindi GEC shows where girls fall in love with their kidnappers. And when that is the rot we've been fed into, demarcation before reality and illusion vanishes.

I've been guilty of the last line 😆 I have quite the soap-graph. Indian, Paki, Korean, Chinese, American/English...even a Russian show which I half-watched. I try every stream of fiction at least once. 😆

But that's the thing...it's fiction. This is a reality show. So lines blur here. And ships lose direction and crash into lighthouses or get lost in the fog.

Show wouldn't dare shove it down our throats even though sometimes I feel like they itch too. It's untapped TRPs according to them. But the conservatives will come crawling out and next season won't happen. Hence they're focusing on other imaginary ships.

Haven't seen it. I'll deffo queue it up now. You know, I feel Brokeback is overrated...Like maybe it's cause after I read a lot of really good MM books I realized that it wasn't as good as I made it to be when I first watched it. But it's a milestone ...much like democracy 😆 and that's what makes it special.

And yeah, it's irrelevant. But he'd be the secondary character in the PriKas novel. That's why the curiosity. And bade bhai ain't shipping PriKas 😆 BB ensured that.

I think all of us are bored. It's really dragging now. SAAP keep fighting each other. Hina has mellowed down so even the trolling is not funny anymore. Vikas gets pushed into a spot as though he's Tom Hagen and responsible for all the Corleones. It's annoying af now.
