@bold That was what really got to me. Just because he's producer doesn't mean that he can't have genuine relationships with people and they're all friendly with him just because they want something out of it. This kind of logic is so flawed & cynical. Praise Shilpa? You must be the most genuine person in the entire universe. Praise Vikas? You're scared of him.
The host has made it pretty obvious who he supports and who he considers guilty. I'm not even finding it fun to watch tbvh.
This is another one of the reasons I prefer Big Brother US to Bigg Boss. Julie's interactions with the housemates are very limited and even though she might have her favourites too, she doesn't let her emotions affect her hosting.
Instead, Sallu not only ignores Shilpa's wrongdoings but he encourages her & praises her - which really affects how the rest of the HMs perceive Vikas.
See, the part where they ignore Shilpa's wrongdoings, and praise her, I get - it's all business, and it's all about making sure the content-givers keep giving content. Fair enough.
But this extra-mile is unnecessary from that perspective - they don't have to pick a side - they can still encourage Shilpa from a 'we don't know who was right/wrong with your issue outside' standpoint. But they chose to pick a side - and with that agenda, they're going so far as to have the host and a panelist together mock both Vikas and another panelist who spoke in favour of Vikas. So far as to blatantly suggest that anyone who speaks in favour of Vikas is biased. And Tanisha saying so when she was busy fan-girling over Shilpa was blatant hypocrisy.
And I find it hilarious when Sallu, and people in general, talk about how BB is strictly about the game in the house, and what happened outside matters zilch and it's ridiculous to discuss it. Erm - Shilpa brought her outside matter into the house to use as her angle. She's no poking artist like Imam who stuck only to house issues and never went personal. And now you have Sallu and panelists being Shilpa's veiled lawyers for her 'outside issue'. #SMH
