He did that only after Shilpa threw water/mud on him.It was then that he retaliated.It was Shilpa who threw it first on him.

Like how we do in Holi when some throws water we retaliate and throw the water back

He didn't use that as a strategy to make contestants go inside

Vikas has been from Day 1 one of the smartest of the lot, learns from his mistakes quickly, and adapts easily. More than anything, his temper doesn't flare beyond a point, is calm and collected mostly and tries to minimize friction when possible, he doesn't use abusive words, is sensitive, doesn't do random gossiping and bitching and he is sophisticated without being snooty. Funny thing is he often asks others to follow his strategy quite openly during tasks, but nobody pays him heed and he ends up succeeding 😆
