No one with an ailing mother would or should - but Bani does. And with no remorse whatsoever - she said today na (after she initially lied about giving ma ki gaali) that 'frustration mein tha toh tha'.

And it wasn't only at thin air - it was at Lopa too, and this is not the first time, either. But you'll hear that such name-calling is not to be taken literally - so, I wonder, are gaalis without the mother/sister prefixes, of the same gravity? Are they given/taken with the same gravity? I doubt it. Such gaalis are deemed more disgusting for a reason, and they most definitely do not denote respect for mothers and sisters.

What people say to Bani is mean and insensitive, but her abusing and name-calling them is fine because apparently 'everyone does it', and if you say you don't, well then you're a 'liar' - I'm not saying this btw - those of us that object to Bani's abusive vernacular have read variations of this umpteen times herein.

Baani uses the maadurChxd galli quite liberally in Bigg Boss, Fuxks etc she uses on daily basis and that is just in one hour telecast. Guess what she spews in a 24 hour period.

Words like motherf**ker, f**ker are never used in the literal sense.
These are very popular words that are thrown around with ease in conversations, in movies, in TV shows.
I'm not saying it is okay to use or encourage the use of such words but who I am to preach since I have used them in general conversations too and most people take them in jest.
These words are also used to express extreme anger.
Whereas I have never seen or heard anyone throw around "You use your mother for sympathy" or "mother's illness" with so much ease, ever in my life especially if it involves cancer.

This mother f**ker of a disease cancer ruins lives

It's a deplorable sexist gaali. I being a baani fan didn't like it either. However, she had no intention of 'attacking' anybody. Lopa would have called it out if she thought Bani was attacking her mom, or any mom. I know it wasn't her intention to attack any mom because it wouldn't make sense since she got offended for her mom.
Of course if you have a problem with people using this gaali because you think they're disrespecting women, I get it. I would feel bad too. But assuming she is that bad of a person who hates moms or doesn't respect them is taking it to another level guys. How many of the people you meet in real life who use that word when they're really angry/instigated are really meaning to disrespect moms? It's one of those bad trends that people should consciously not be a part of, but are because people around them use it.

Other swear words that she says like 'f*** man' and stuff, that's not too much of a big deal honestly IMO. Because the meaning of the word doesn't hurt anyone. I don't know why people get so disgusted by them, I mean they aren't racist/sexist and aren't hurting anyone. This isn't a kids show otherwise ofcourse it would be bad.

N I have a daughter suffering from cancer. Tht does not mean I can't swear. Do not say I m using my daughter as sympathy now.

I don't think Bani fans boycott any thread. They do post on threads where they can find a point to post. This is clearly where they are stumped.

It is best to not bring your personal life on the forum. Nobody wants to take a user's example to prove a point.

Edit : My bad. Didn't read the following comments. 😆

I think she was definitely in the wrong, but this is a moot point. It was said in frustration and out of habit.

Is it a bad habit to use such words? Sure, but that doesn't have anything do with "hurting the sentiments of motherhood".
