One of the articles posted here mentions that Armaan Kohli used unparliamentary language. In Armaan's defense, that's the language used in Parliament of India.

tell me armaan ka fault kya hai? mop se intetionally hurt karna ya nahi karna? ya phir kuch aur?...everybody in forum demanding that armaan should be out because he hit sophia par jo charges lagaye hai sophia ne woh toh bahut jyadaa hai..sexual harrrsment? yeh kab hua?

What's the point of arresting him? I seriously doubt that he's going to get punished. I'm more appalled by the fact that they actually noticed something do something about it. Like, hello? there are women getting beaten up by their husbands in India all over the poor places... and they won't take up those cases at all. I have no reason to support Armaan. I don't support people attacking women, but Sophia had clearly instigated all that week. She even pushed him several times, so by the time he lost his cool, he hit her on accident. I fail to see how this was hitting purposely?

True going strictly by the book, most of them should be arrested if not all. For physical assault and intimidation or verbal intimidation and threatening or harrassment and intimidating a woman or even using banned socially stigmatic words towards a person.

Actually this is a high profile case both with the person involved and also related to a popular program so it is tough for anyone to brush this under the carpet.
