One possible reason: making sure fans don't vote for them and to make their fans feel that their families would save them anyways?

that is what we call "PROMOTIONS"...And if a dad is promoting his son, I find nothing wrong in it...I am sure lot of people and PR teams would be voting for other contestants too!

Ofcourse its not wrong but only for kau and gau family but if tanisha's family supporting her then its maha paap. Phan girls will cry on twitter.

Only kau and gau family have right to show love rest of the contestants have no right to get family love.

Till yestarday people were shouting and crying coz of tani's family support when they dont even know whether her family really supporting her or not and now same people r in favor of family support coz of kushki. 🤣

Same goes with all other contestants. They are your family and they will do anything to see you be successful.

I think viewers like you and me who have followed the entire season (each and every episode), who know what's happening on twitter and who continue to talk and live BB by chatting on forums like this, are trying to rip apart everything that everyone (be it the contestants or the host) say.

My husband doesnt watch BB other than the weekend episodes. So, while watching WKW, I mentioned to him saying I wonder why Salman is saying all these to Kushal, because ofcourse, there's nothing wrong in family supporting.

He just brushed it aside and said, "why r u making such a big deal? He's just pulling his leg."

To him, it seemed to be something that was done in jest and he didnt think it was something that was worth pondering or discussing even.

My sisters too, just watch the main episode (they are not active on twitter, are not members of any forum, do not read as much about the show) and they too think that sometimes Salman does go overboard a little bit, but for the most part, they just brush off what happens and tell me, "it's a reality show...who cares?"

Anyways, to answer your main question, "there is absolutely nothing wrong in family supporting".

Most of the times, Salman goes directly at Kushal on what is shown in the main episode. This time, they showed a clipping. Which means, it was scripted and the producers wanted to show it to viewers. Other families may also be doing the same thing, it is just that Kushal spoke about it and hence all this discussion.

Kaushal should not have discussed with gauhur.
