I think it means Gauahar must do a lot of kitchen work "normally" - I doubt very many people in India wear gloves while washing utensils.

In India kya yaar In Canada also😆..I wash all my bartan without gloves whenever I don't have to put them in the dishwasher.. I prefer no gloves because I feel I don't get a grip of things with gloves on and the dishes clean better too..
