its not word but how it was said. i feel that in the context that it was said in was wrong. For me, the way Tanisha said it was insulting. Being a cook isnt a bad thing but i dont she meant it to be a compliment (again that is how i feel). Then to try being diplomatic about it doesnt negate it. It made her look more guilty of insulting her rather than respecting her. i think Gauhar's come back was witty.

I agree - she should have said - she is putting red pepper in the discussion because she is a good cook instead of she is doing it because she is cook. It is very important to choose right words otherwise the same words may mean differently. However, knowing the chemistry between the two - Tanisha said it sarcastically and not as a complement.😃
