then i will only say u r meanminded when trying to categorise ppl on the basis of region and religion. May be majority actual viewer dont think so thats why we see different winner in shows on the basis of how they relate emotion of viewer rather than region and religion.

Is there a correlation between which region are contestants and you from? Why does it matter?

I am Punjabi from Punjab obviously... (currently living in canada)

I don't get why some people in this forum are so defensive... Every little question is taken so defensively such like this one...

The question was simple where are you from in india?

but i agree with the person who created this topic... I also think a lot of people support a particular individual according to where they are from... However, i believe it mostly applies to people who are living in India not to NRI's... i could be wrong but that's how i feel it is...

The reason for that is this particular person is taken as someone who is representing there country/city/town, what have you...
and when this person wins it like an honor for the particular city/town/country etc..

For example if i'm watching Miss Universe i would always want India to win and then Canada second doesn't matter how good they are mainly because i feel this two candidates represent me my origin or the place i am currently living in...

Same thing applies when your watching sports...

what the heck is your problem? lol. I am NOT categorizing people. THEY ARE ALREADY CATEGORIZED. I am asking where they are from. Is that a crime? Does it make a person mean?

Why are you so afraid of these things?

Will Enigmatic take a knife out and go after Diva in Armor because of this topic?

relax not one person has minded this. and yes i strongly believe that regional favoritism is a strong factor but not the only factor and therefore the most deserving does not always win,

MODS PLEASE CLOSE THIS TOPIC AT ONCE. I WILL PM YOU ALSO.

Okay I have messaged following to close this topic with immediate effect

Bigg Boss Saath 7 Development Team:

I want to thank everyone for their contribution. The intention was to see if some of the diehard supporters support contestants because of them being from same region. Later I did realize that it is not possible to find that out because I did not know many and whom the support so it was kind of useless to know where they are from. Then there this issue of people taking it in wrong manner.

I guess my conclusion is that it is one of the factors but not the only factor. This could be the only explanation of my observation that one who wins is not always the most deserving.

I appreciate those who took it positively and were open about it.

Mods please close this so that we move on.
