it was a task. He didn't want to jump in and be responsible for losing points. He hates gauhar he doesn't like kushal either. His girl tanisha is taking andy's side and he know kushal, gahuar belong to kamaya and prats. He hates them too. So there you go. This is the reason he is standing for andy. He and tanisha were isolated and now they are standing by andy and going against the whole group.

I dnt understand him!! Just yesterday he was all abt how he loathes andy and cant stand him and today he is on his side just to meddle with kushal and gauhar!!

he's standing up for Andy at the end when Kushal keeps threateneing that he is going to beat up Andy...that is the right thing to do - when the whole thing was happeneing he didnt stand up. but it is correct to stand up for someones safety - non-stop Kushal is threatening.

Both Tanisha and Armaan have maintained that the fight between Tanisha and Kushal was between the two of them and no third person should've interfered. Tanisha even told Gauhar that Arman would not interfere in her quarrels and neither should Kushal have interfered in the issue between Gauhar and Andy.

Tanisha's words to Gauhar were very clearly - you are capable of standing up for yourself and you were doing it well too.

Where Armaan defending Andy comes in it was becauseKushal was threatening further violence against Andy. Why just Armaan, even BiggBoss felt that there was a credible threat of violence, which is why bouncers were sent inside to protect Andy from further physical retaliation and to prevent Kshal from attacking Andy.
