but the way these inmates thought they r superior...i was shocked... Asif was bullied over and over... and i dont think they have any idea what they r doing...because these housemates do not have that knowledge or education to behave legitimately ...and i respect Asif to behave decently...while he has one of the highest degrees and is a supermodel where gauhar herself is not a big name as him in the fashion world...
i would like to invite these petty actors and vjs to my country..and c the importance of my language over here as we fought for our language...along wid my civilised indian frds...but thn again may b its not worth it...
we may b a poorer country...but we live and stand with self esteem... nd im really proud of Asif he never went confronting these ppl as the knowledge they need to understand him is lacking...

i think many indians loved him for his honesty...even if he was from another country...hats off to those Indians and all other worldwide viewers who loved him.. we will never misunderstand India for these 10 ppl's behavior.

one sentence for Asif..i dont think these dirt will ever affect him...as his life is far beyond these petty issues!

Well said. You are Bangladeshi, maybe you can elaborate for the people who are not understanding why I brought up his nationality and how Bangladeshis will see this debate. Bangladeshis have a very great love for their language and languages in general. They died for it. So yes, when you make fun of their lack in a language, they take it quite personally. Am I wrong in understanding that?

Especially since your whole stand was for RACISM.. Now that I said it was never about that, you choose to say they mean the same thing, can be used interchangeably and you didn't use the right words...

Seriously, we can all see how you've got offended and hyper... But that comment made everything you've said sound irrelevant because you were going on and on and on and on and on about racism...

And seriously, if you said that to a teacher or professor that racism, discrimination and enthocentrism all basically not different and can be used interchangeably , I assure you that you would never graduate high school at least here... If you didn't understand the post and don't know the meaning of things, you probably took the whole topic wrong and made it into a battle field which wasn't required... And from your replies, in is evident that you are getting offended, hyper, and annoyed...

Now seriously, goodnight.

Thank you Closed... for being the voice of reason. 👏

Silverbug honey, I liked just about every post on this discussion. Everyone, except some of your instigating comments. Why? Because people spent the time to respond to my OP. I like every post because I thank them for their time. Somehow I only managed to instigate your nationalism with my post liked by 100 people. If I was trying nationalism, I clearly did not manage. You are hilarious🤣

Your entire thread is of instigating nature and you are calling my posts instigating for catching your bullshit 😆 pot. kettle. black.

You have pretty much given away your own sense of nationalism in the very first post. You can cloak it very well and fool others with it but not me. I see through exactly where you are coming from 😃

PS: I'm not really offended with your "nationalist" comments because like I said before I don't find it to be a derogatory word. I don't subscribe to the same views as you do.

Hard to be a nationalist when I am from neither of these countries. But sure darling, if it makes you sleep better. I raised both countries with a balance of what's good in each and called out where I saw it as wrong, I felt. Incidentally, I feel very patriotic when I hear Jana Gana or even Vade Mataram. Not my country, but hey, so many feels 😭!!! But sure, you go on thinking what you like. The Earth is flat.

Just to make you feel better, I will "like" your post. 😳😆

There you go with your assumptions again 😆

FYI I have a masters in computer science from a TIER 1 US university.

It's all good though. All you guys are really doing here is making til ka taad and playing with words like I said before. You wrote me a long ass essay on why I was wrong in my choice of words but then you haven't really addressed any of the core points.

what then is the point of speaking about the 2 countries in ur 1st post if ur not making nationalist comments?

u could have simply spoken about the bullying aspect as a human. but u took it to the country factor.

on one hand u talk about being embarrassed for indians and then u say u dont make a nationalist comment. such contradictory statements r being made.

yes. the day ppl fought and some died for their language in Bangladesh is declared as the intenational language day . it is celebrated worldwide. unless India who have many languages, we have only one language. And for Asif the place he came from is one of the historical places of our libeartion war. clearly it is a small place and not a metropolitan city where i stay.
we have a very good cultural bond with kolkata who share the same language with us.and in kolkata also many ppl cannot speak hindi very well.and prattyusha should know it very well..but has she ever for once tried to help Asif?? no!! thats what bothered us... im not talking abt racism...im just talking abt the cheap mentalities of these ppl.

and language is such a holy thing in my country...we never mock ppl with language..i can proudly say that..in india me and my frds tried to speak in hindi as much as we can as it is india's national language..and our frds helped us...its just the mentality ppl have.. i dont know y these bigg boss inmates think they r superior..!!

Again Poorva, when you are neither, you cannot be nationalist. We are talking about an Indian show and something wrong that happened here and with a Bangladeshi, ON language. So duh, the nationalities do come up. You are switching between whether you are accusing me of nationalism or racism. Again, not the same same thing.

First you try to divide between Indians and Bangladeshis making this post where you clearly mention asif was bullied because he is from bangladesh and then you say it want your intention.
