Salman vs Gauhar-Kushal explodes on social media

We know how outspoken Bigg Boss host Salman Khan is. This big brother of tinsel town doesn't think twice before voicing his opinion and cracking the whip on the reality show contestants.

Every weekend the host comes on the show and takes a moral dig at each contestant, he reviews the fight and tries to clear any misunderstanding.

In the past few weeks it seemed that the wicked side of Salman is little soft on Tanisha Mukherji. Speculations were made whether the family friend is biased towards the contestant.

During this weekend's episode we witness Salman taking a clear stand for Tanisha.

He reprimanded Kushal Tandon left, right and center. For the uninitiated - last week during the weekly activities Kushal and Tanisha has a fight and Tanisha went physical. Following which Kushal climbed the boundary wall and jumped to the other side.

Tanisha to her defense said she was agitated by Kushal's continuous provocation for the past couple of days.

Now when Salman came to the show he supported Tanisha and chastised Kushal for behaving inappropriately with a lady. He slams Kushal for talking indecently about a woman.

Salman kept urging Kushal to consider the family Tanisha belongs to before talking about her.

All this while Tanisha seemed relieved and on the brink of tears after getting Salman's support.

It might be interesting to recall here that Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn (Tanisha's brother-in-law) share a very good friendship bond. Viewers may also see Salman's support for Tanisha as something pushed by Devgn or his family!

Salman reacted ferociously to this episode and blasts everyone from Gauhar to Kamya to Kushal.

Gauhar could not stop herself and said Salman was "unfair". That unleashed a series of exchange between the host and Gauhar. Salman lost his cool and asked Gauhar "not to butt in" while he is talking to Kushal.

By then Gauhar too lost her temper and said there are many things said by Tanisha on the show that are probably not being telecast. And that it was Tanisha who first made personal remarks.

Online media was abuzz after the episode and many labeled Salman as biased. They were disappointed the way he snubbing Gauhar and at the same time asking Kushal to respect woman.

Many were also stunned that Salman did not say a word to Armaan for making derogatory remarks on fellow contestant Kamya Punjabi.

Viewer Preeti Dixit wrote on Twitter: Yesterday's full episode of @BiggBoss #BB7 was about trying to save Tanisha's image. Extremely disappointed.

Salman Khan also took to Twitter to explain his stand: "U see 1 hour i see the whole deal.guess sm of u guys may not react wen sm 1 speaks to your family ka female members or women in that manner".

"But I do n most of us men n women stand up against men who run em dwn if this is culture not or culture it better b come."

"I am only answering your question abt BB b cs u r following me .This is a game. its on tv so I like to keep a check on it ."

"The choice is yours if u wanna watch it or not. Sm times people do get carried away in fights,every 1 does n then they sort it out."

In a heated discussion with Kushal and Gauhar over the fight with Tanisha, Salman Khan says this might be the last season of the show for him.

In the meantime model Asif Azim was evicted from 'Bigg Boss' house Saturday.

The other celebrity inmates left in the Bigg Boss house include VJ Andy, Gauhar Khan, Kushal Tandon, Apoorva Agnihotri, Tanisha Mukherjee, Sangram Singh, Elli Avram, Kamya Punjabi and Pratyusha Banerjee.
