I was thinking the same. They said he is the best professional wrestler but as some one who has been following wrestling since 90s and knows a lot about it, I found it a bit ridiculous as to how someone who hasn't even made it to a major wrestling league (WWE, TNA, ROH or even any US indy promotions) could be the best pro wrestler. This is a travesty to watch for wrestling fans. Infact, I would go say that he is dangerous in the ring. For others.

I don't know which organization gave him this status but the one that is most acclaimed in wrestling industry is the PWI (Pro wrestling illustrated) rankings. If you look at the listings here :

You will observe that most of the awards were given to wrestlers from reputed wrestling promos of past or present - WWE, TNA, ROH, NWA, WCW, New Japan etc. America is considered the mecca of pro wrestling. Japan and Mexico come next. This guy wrestled for some small time promotion in South Africa of all places.

If you remember TNA (2nd best wrestling promotion today) did a Ring Ka King show in India where they had all these Indian wrestlers. Sangram Singh wasn't even invited so I'm wondering if he's even the best wrestler in India.

Tiger jeet singh is the most acclaimed pro wrestler of Indian descent:

Sangram has done some pro-wrestling and whatever be it's level, he can't be denied that credit. Few of his vids are available and I posted one-two in this discussion as well. On that score there is no problem at all.

Issue with Sangram is plain bogus claims like Gold Medal in Commonwealth Wrestling, President's award, Rajiv Gandhi award etc...😕

Such tall claims are easily verifiable in this web age and any search you do, all you will get is 2-3 planted stories, or Sangram's website / FB page. Thats what is alarming.

COLORS / BB can strike a TRP goldmine if they dig at the bottom of these claims and expose Sangram on TV. He can't blame anyone but himself (and his PR firm), if that happens!😊

Yeah he has done some pro wrestling but the point is the "best pro wrestler" title was bogus. I don't want to demean him or anything but the guy who can't land basic slams cannot become the best pro wrestler. Pro wrestling is an art in itself. You have to make sure you don't get hurt and the opponent doesn't get hurt, all while convincing the crowd that it's "real". Calling him best wrestler is actually very demeaning to those who have lost their lives putting their bodies on the line.

Tanisha is talking about 100 cr production house. Aur to aur Vivek Mishra jaisa lookha bhi kehta hai ki isne hollywood walo ko yoga sikhai hai.

If this is true, that's a huge scam and I think he will be unveiled before he leaves the BB house. Is this actually the reason Salman mentions everything so precisely? Do the BB team not do a little research on the contestant??

It is extremely unlikely that a production company that has produced a pro-wrestling show would not be aware of Sangram's history.

In fact, the sheer magnitude of the scam (hundreds of articles on him in TOI, Indian Express, Mid-day, Open Magazine, silence of news channels, other wrestlers) suggests that only a large company like Endemol could have carried it off.

As far as sangram goes he is not a real wrestler he is wwf type fake wrestler so we can't call him a sportman.
