Obviously he's achieved stuff but it is sort like comparing an ordinary International crickter with a legendary one.
For eg,

Vindo Kambli vs Sachin Tendulkar

Ajit Agarkar vs Sachin Tendulkar

ofc, he achieved a lot. He was not born rich (although I am not sure about that). He made a lot of bucks doing many different things and you can say that he's a self-made man, but the real question is.. has he done anything in his life to make India proud (as Salman portrayed him)??

Sachin is renowned all over the world and people refer to him as "little master". Most consider him as the best batsman of all time. but if you ask a foreign expert about Vinod Kambli, his reply will be "Vinod who??" even though Vinod Kambli earned a lot more bucks than this Sangram Singh

btw, both Vinod Kambli and Agarkar represented India for years. Even if they're not famous, they earned most of their money playing sports. Sangram Singh earns his livelihood doing shows for different tv channels. BIG DIFFERENCE!

Sangram Singh hasn't represented India anywhere.

There is an erroneous web wiki page that wrongly mentions Jullundhar as a venue of Commonwealth Wrestling Championships which seems to be a plant of his PR team and there they show him as Sanchit Kumar, Gold Medal winner. On Wiki page they mentioned it as 2009, Salman yesterday went by achievement page given to him by Sangram team and mentioned it as 2006 South Africa 🤓, Gold Medal Commonwealth Wrestling Championships...and Sangram said YES SIR!😆

When it was first pointed out that this Commonwealth Gold is a sham claim, Sangram team immediately removed this claim from his website.

What Sangram actually did is, he 'wrestled' in South Africa in a WWE's poor cousin type league where seasoned Indian actor Sharat Saxena acts as his mentor-coach and they have scripts like Sangram's brother killed, now he will avenge his death...same Undertaker-Caine kind of scripts of WWE.

Give it to the man that he does some WWE type bouts, has made a good body, has done a few reality TV shows...but please...do not say he has represented India or won any medals for India.

Whatever titles are conferred on him are Honorary things.

Gotta give it to team Sangram that they really have made a huge mountain out of whatever he actually achieved...added a lot more to it. ONly mistake they did is in attempting to make people swallow what Sangram has never done too! 😊

even the official website of commonwealth games doesn't mention his name in the winner's list..the only source that mention him of winning gold medal in commonwealth games is wikipedia and everyone knows that anyone can edit wikipedia..

In this age of easy web access, google, YouTube Vids, is it so difficult to find out whether Sangram even represented India?

This is the official website of Commonwealth Wrestling Association:

http://commonwealthwrestling.sharepoint.com/Pages/default.aspx

Make up your own minds...

One can watch a few glimpses of his 'fights', here! 😊
...watch Sharat Saxena. (Films Ghulam, Baghban, Ghayal, Tumko Naa Bhool Paayenge etc.)...😆

i am still not clear abt the curious case of sangram singh

though not mch but i am atleast aware of d ppl who brought india pride in the recent years that included vijendra singh saina nahiwal sushil kumar abhinav bindra etc...dese were d ones mch heard abt in news...never heard of sangram singh.

as for commonwealth thing...he didnt win in common wealth games but common wealth wrestling championship which is takes place after every 2 years.in 2009 it took place in punjab and most of the ppl who won were indians...some sanjit kumar(which ppl say is sangram simgh) won a gold in that championship.this championship was not a part of the formal games.and salman lied when he said sangram participated n won in 2006 CWG...bcoz wiki is a proof that who all won in 2006 at CWG:
