I've no problem with Gauhar not participating in any religious activity. She is a free individual and has right to not dance if she doesn't want to. I'm only arguing against the justifications provided by her supporters, including you, which are lame.

Yea bcos you seem to be a scholar on Islam? It is against Islam to worship another God but she was being respectful by observing... I don't need to justify myself to you.. it's a waste of time..

Please don't start this again. It was her choice not to take part, the same way that Kushal didn't also.

It is not allowed in Islam to worship anyone but Allah, but it also says in Islam to respect all religions. Which is exactly what she was doing by standing silently at the side (wearing the same clothes as everyone) and observing.
And yes some Muslims do take part, that is there personal choice, so let's leave it at that.

Same here feel good while read your comment . I think u r Muslim like me😊

I guess this forum is filled by many Pakistan origin Muslims who resides abroad now and who does not have any idea/ clue about the Indian culture, Indian Muslim members would never post any insensitive quotes here in the context of participating Puja ... It's joy, its happiness, it's brotherhood ... in India we celebrate every festival with respect to each others ... cant say about UK, US & other world... but definitely in India Muslims respect every celebration of Hindus and vice-versa ...!!

It's one personal belief. She isn't stopping others from practicing their faith (which would be way worse).

If she doesn't believe in a particular custom she silently stood aside and let the others continued.

This is such a nonsensical post. On the contrary and a different scenario, just b/c someone is Hindu doesn't mean they will partake in Eid prayers or Christian rituals. So Gauhar is doing the same and following what is her personal belief. God bless her.

More importantly, BB still kept a divide. So really only Heaven people were allowed to do pooja while the others were kept separate--which I think it also WAY worse. Maybe Gauhar doesn't support that. Either way, not a big issue like you're making it out to be.
