I wouldn't say he always says it on face, he has talked behind people's back like when he told Gauhar and Sakkubai that did Kamya leave her kid in anath ashram then he laughed a bit and Gauhar told him it was not a nice thing to say. So no Ratan he doesn't always say it on face.

He's really not though. He likes to stir the pot a little. But I do think he's not fake. I loved when he was taking to Shilpa and said that it takes him time to fix relationships and can't be so nice-nice with Armaan all of a sudden just b/c Armaan is.

He's very real and true. I also admire him for saying what's on his mind, especially when he was in front of Salman b/c everyone else likes to flip-flop. He takes and makes a firm stance.
