You shouldn't have to worry about people hating you for stating your opinion, especially when the forum is full of negative opinions about all other contestants.

And I definitely don't hate you for you this topic because Eli gets on my nerves too!

I don't agree with your reasons though. There's nothing wrong if someone who is not Indian likes the Indian culture. And she's never been disrespectful about the culture so I don't see the problem with that.

Side note: I have a friend who is Quebecois (French). She's getting married next year and has already planned to have 5 kids! I'm Indian and I'd want 2 max! 😆 So I don't think all that has to do with only Indian culture.

The reason Eli annoys me is actually what Kamya said. She plays so dumb in front of Salman, which is a turn-off for me. I know I'm no one to make assumptions and judgments, but it looks really fake to me. Even in the house she's tried to play dumb. In the beginning, the situation with people telling her fake tough names. To me it seemed like she was playing dumb to look "cute" and for the attention.

But despite that, I think Eli is really sweet, but I also beleive that there's probably another side to her which she'll never show because she's really not in the house to win. She's just there to promote herself and her upcoming movie.

Not agree with you TM.
Elli is one of the very few positive female in BB7 house after Ratan.
and the logic in your first post against her is very weak (infect there is no logic)

Infect your Kamya never had those socalled "guts" if u have noticed she never said anything to Ratan's face, but was infect bitching and backbiting her in her absence.

I was disappointed with Elli when she bitched abt Andy to Tanisha - Armaan & others...& was later seen consoling Andy. I didn't like that and since then I'm not as fond of her as I used to be. Also the Elli-Sallu angle is stretched a bit too much during the weekend epis. I'm probably in the minority but I don't find it entertaining. Other than that - I don't really see anything wrong in Elli. And I don't agree with the points that the TM has raised.

But I don't know why some people are getting offended 😆 pasand karna nahin karna - all comes down to personal choice

Why is Ellie always showing that she is sooo much in love with Indian way of life. - Why is it illegal to do that?

Okay I understand that she likes some of the things in India but come on its like when the she knows the camera is on her she over does it too much -The camera's are 24/7 around all of the house mates so...

1. i want to have 5 kids and have my parents and take care of them and all.. ( this is so she can get the votes from the elder generation of Indians who also think the same way) - Erm... Just no. Just because she is not Indian doesn't mean she can't want 5 kids? Even in the UK, my neighbour has 4 kids. People have different hopes/dreams.

2. the singing in Hindi songs, cookie Indian food, - I don't know her much but I have gathered that she loves BW and anything Indian related. Plus you should be happy to know that Elli wants to embrace the Indian customs and culture. I know I am ;)

Her air head ness act is getting on my nerves. - She doesn't fully know Hindi so she's bound to act a bit confused. People who don't understand English properly tend to do the same and I would hate it if people called that 'air head ness' because not knowing a language doesn't make someone 'air' headed. I am sure you would act the same if you were in Sweden and weren't allowed to speak any other language than Swedish...

Ratan also had no guts to be able to talk to anyone to there face but know that she is gone out of there she has become a lion and has a mouth on her. Let Kamya stand infront of her and watch what happens to Ratan... She will shit in her pants. - Well, Kamya did say it behind Ratan's back so Ratan had no idea about it. When she found out, she did confront Kamya. Plus Ratan isn't the type of person to increase or encourage arguments unlike some...

Ellie is Greek. Greek ppl are verry verry family oriented. I know movies are NOT the best way to understand a culture, but please watch the "Big Fat Greek wedding" you will get the idea.

I live in USA and and a citizen here, and I have seen some Americans take care of their parents better than some Indians... and yes big families (lots of kids) are very common here as well. Its personal preference.
