Alright, everyone will admit that Gauhar is definitely not a likable or remotely nice person. Even calling her a conniving bitch might be putting it mildly. While she deserves criticism, some of her criticism on the forum just seems over the top. A lot of the comments on Gauhar appear almost rabid and almost neurotically obsessive - even emphatically mispronouncing/misspelling her name for some unknown extra effect.
For example her relationship with Kushal. Most people admit it is exceptionally fake and quite irritating to be honest. I'm not a fan of Gaushala at all, it stinks. However, I find it alarming that so many people are labeling this relationship as cheap, vulgar and inappropriate. While not stating it explicitly, the comments give a very predatory and whorish portrayal of Gauhar. Such criticism is quite disrespectful. Call them out for being fake, cheesy, ridiculous! Call them out for using a romance to get attention! Call them out for using each other like props! But why stoop to extreme levels?
Gauhar is indeed abrasive, venomous and hypocritical. Most people will admit that. But I think it really gets over the top when every itty bitty move of her is scrutinized, analyzed and dissected to prove these things. Some of is just ridiculous. How many teeth that are visible when she smiles or how long she takes to pee doesn't amount to anything (these are just hyperbole examples, but you get the drift). This sort of nit picking scrutiny comes off as disturbingly obsessive and venomous.
I'm not saying leave Gauhar alone. As a disliked contestant, she is bound to attract a lot of disdain. I've seen her on shows before and she's no Miss Congeniality, so I'm always pleasantly surprised when people actually like her. But let's get real. This Gauhar diss-mania is coming off like some psychiatric obsessive compulsive disorder the forum is suffering. What is it about Gauhar that causes this obsession with her?
