Correction but Salman did NOT launch Aishwarya Rai for Hum Dil. Kajol was 1st considered for Nandini but couldn't do it so SLB went to his 2nd choice Aishwarya. He also wanted her for Khamoshi but she wasn't able to do that.

Salman didn't fall in love with till half-way through the shooting.

On topic, it's poosible. But everyone was saying he's launching Mahek and I don't think that happened...so it's possible or not. But I do feel he has a personal penchant towards Elli.
