Salman is a close friend of Haathi. and I think he was upset with his behavior.
And scold kiya to bhi kya hua, he had made the show boring.

No, he wasn't. He wasn't even half as harsh with Rajat as he was with Siddharth and Imam in the previous seasons. But yes, I strongly believe that when contestants want to leave because of health or any other extenuating situation, they should be allowed to.

Well, then how else did you want Salman to treat Rajat, if Rajat wasn't all that mean according to you?

The point is that when Salman grills someone or lambastes a certain contestant, no card is left unturned. He does the dhulaai equally and fairly. But for some reason, he was still very kind and patient with Rajat.
