When they first showed Salman in that room and he said that this house is connected to Big Boss' house, I thought he was showing us the "secret room". I was wondering why it was so nicely made - come to find out, it belonged to Mr. Sallu. Really, how much money does a man need?

He was a good host the first season he hosted, but things have gone downhill from there. He has taken his status as the BB host for granted now, and little attention is given to his chitchat and grilling sessions with the contestants on the show, and more to what song he will be dancing to next Friday and how he will shoo away the white girls dancing behind him. I think the show will do just fine without him. More focus needs to be brought back to the actual contestants and less on Salman's friends and the movies they are coming to promote on the show.

I still remember Season 4 where the weekend episode was dedicated to the contestant that was eliminated and only them. He used to ask all kinds of questions and used to show clips from shows to the contestant, that usually shocked them or made them happy. They used to chat about the happenings in BB house and who is doing what. On top of that, the eliminated contestant got to directly nominate someone for next week!

Now, all I see is Salman and some other actors (who annoyingly make it seem like they watch the show, when in reality I can tell that all their lines were fed to them by BB and they haven't seen a single episode) promoting a film for like 90% of the episode and then they bring in Hazel to literally say two lines and say bye. It has really never been about BB or the contestants. It's Salman, Salman, Salman all the effing time!

And completely agree with you. They showed so many past scenes back then and Salman questioned their behavior on the show. Also, they showed them things other people said and asked for their thoughts. Hope they continue that trend this year! Last season was terrible with the aakhri salaam. Hope they change that this year. I hate the film promotions! And more than that, I hate the Salman promotions! Salman Khan is an established actor with a HUGE fan base that no one can deny. Do they really need to promote him like this on the show? Shouldn't it be about the show and no the host? AHHH.

I haven't seen any past seasons before Sallu started hosting, I always hear how great Arshad Warsi was on the show. One day I'm going to go back and watch that season. One day. 😆

P.S. I think it's hilarious when people pretend to watch the show! Lol.
