can someone tell me why did Prityusha quit Balika Vadhu ?

was she thinking she is very famous and was throwing tantrums and production house throwed her out ? or she herself quit it ???? if yes then why ???

why someone will replace the lead of a female oriented #1 show without a strong reason ?

Left #1 show and doing Bigg Boss ???? 🤔

I read somewhere that she quit Balika Vadhu when she got an offer in Vikram Bhatt movie, which never took off.

I didn't see her before or watch the serial, just read it after watching her in BB, so not sure how real it is.

It seems she was trying for bollywood. she had given auditions for murder3 and aashiqui2. she was not arriving to BV sets on time and throwing tantrums. many times body doubles were used in her place as she never showed up on sets. whether they were fed up with her and replaced her or she abruptly quit herself is not known.

whatever it is, it just shows how unprofessional she is. BV makers will not ruin their show themselves. she must have given them a tough time.

But also, on other side, in one of her interviews she mentioned, tht she wanted to come out of tht image of simple bahu...

It ws a foolish decision thn if she herself quit...

Actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who shot to fame with Balika Vadhu, was ironically thrown out of the show. Interestingly, the small screen actress was not even informed in advance about this sudden decision by the channel at that point of time.

If rumors are to be believed, Pratyusha was keeping unwell at that time due to which she was unable to cope up with shooting schedules. Thus, she quit the show which was mutual decision between actress and the production house. The other set of sources had hinted at betrayal by Pratyusha as she chose reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa over Balika Vadhu.

Our reliable sources, however, have a different story to tell. "Pratyusha had a very unprofessional attitude towards work. She would sleep drunk with switched off phone driving everyone form juniors to seniors in the production house completely nuts," reveals the source close to the production house.

"Unit members were totally perturbed by Pratyusha's ill treatment and abusive language on the sets. She used to throw so much tantrums and act irresponsibly. So, she was taken by shock when she came for shoot like any other day. She was all set with costumes and make-up on when she discovered a new girl which was roped in as her replacement," the source adds.

lazy, poor work ethic, thinking too highly of oneself after little success

these are traits that are very recurring in every profession not just tv.

but in tv/film its worse because even very little success can get to your head.
